Since our start in 2017, we have discovered countless kitchens and special locations, catered beautiful events and weddings, made people happy and built valuable partnerships.

We are Du Moi Catering, a creative culinary team that believes food is more than nourishment. Our dishes tell stories. About seasons, craftsmanship, sustainability and the people behind the product.
We cook with local ingredients, directly from farmers in the region and work together with kitchens where attention and care are central.

THE TEAM
PETER MOOIJ — CHEF & FOUNDER
When Peter was young, he wanted only one thing: a dynamic job. After years in the military, his curiosity took him around the world, from the Australian outback to Asia.
In the Netherlands he worked at Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen, Gustavino, the Conservatorium Hotel and Café Panache.
In 2017 he started Du Moi, where he combines his love for cooking with freedom, creativity and experience.
MIRIAM BAKKER-MOOIJ — HOSTESS & ORGANIZATIONAL HEART
Miriam grew up in Opmeer and discovered her talent for organizing and her love for people early on.
After training in Management Support and HR Management, she worked in London at Park Plaza Hotels.
In 2017 everything came together: the start of Du Moi.
Today she is the beating heart behind the scenes and the hostess who sees every detail.
YESSE ZONNEVELD — CHEF
Yesse knew from a young age that he belonged in the kitchen. His path led him through De Admiraal, Okura, Lastage, Ron’s Gastrobar, Taiko and Krasnapolsky.
Since 2018 he follows his own culinary path – refined, precise and with a sharp sense for experience.
DYLAN — CHEF & PASTRY CHEF
Dylan is our rock. A chef and pastry chef with calm, precision and craftsmanship — someone you can always count on.
He previously worked in the kitchens of Restaurant Moer and Sticky Fingers, where he further developed his love for pastry and fine cooking techniques.
Recently he opened his own cooking shop Divine Delicious on Elandsgracht in Amsterdam, a place where creativity and craftsmanship come together.
At Du Moi, Dylan brings stability, finesse and an enormous love for the craft. A quiet force with a sharp eye for detail — exactly what our signature requires.
